I and my friend watched this video an unhealthy amount of times wallah. Up to the point where we knew where the mic hissed. It was in this era a couple years ago that I discovered, Shaykh Omar Al-Qazzaabiri, Shaykh Ibrahim Al-Dossari, then the Libyans, I started with Shaykj Ahmad Al-Qulayb, then found Muhammad Ad-Darooqi, then learnt his teachers were Shaykh Saalih Rajab and Shaykh Keti, then Shaykh Muādh bn Hamid (my crush), then Shaykh Nāaji Atiyah, Shaykh Abdurrahman Al Jahaani, the started listening to teenagers half my age😭 All of them are from the Maghrib. I love recitations like this a lot, they keep it monotone and only emphasise on certain words. Similar to Musa AbuZaghlagh’s recitations. If anyone has any recommendations for similar reciters let me know In Sha Allah.

@wluvnana That's quite interesting because he's not mainstream at all, based on how long you've been listening to him, he's got a calm recitation however, it's balanced

@the_draq he is! listened to majorly him for most of my childhood. he has these recitations of him and a child, he’d read a verse, she’d read it after. that’s what we’d use for revisions outside of madrasah.

i never hear anyone talk about Khalifa Al- Tunaiji but he’s definitely my fave for murāja’ah.
