-yesterday was my last call shift of my first block of residency. 👏🏽 newborn nursery ✔️

two weeks into intern year and can’t believe how much I’ve already learned and how well I’ve embraced the role of being a whole physician 😭 so so happy that this is the life I ~get_~ to live. learning curve is steep but also, so fulfilling.

Dear incoming interns: It’s okay to not know everything. Here’s a secret… no one does.

Building a habit of reading your bible and praying for at least 30 minutes a day will change your heart, mindset, and relationship with God for the better. Highly recommend.

Dear incoming interns: Remember that your attendings have been practicing medicine for years, while you're essentially getting a new job every 4 weeks. Know that your job is not to know everything. Your job is to show up, ask questions, & care deeply for your patients.
