In contrast with the last piece posted, this one was designed by me in #grasshopper3d . Even back then, there were people criticizing the fact that algorithms take over many design aspects, rather than purposefully tailoring that “by hand.” #productdesign #generativeart #3dart

I spent quite a but of time working on the prompt, and then had to “rationalize” the image into a 3d object that could make sense. Designers tend to get frustrated when I describe this process. People interested in chairs don’t seem to mind.

This design is the first in which I used #midjourneyai to create several concepts, and then extracted a top view of the chair which was traced in #blender3d . What you’re seeing here is a render generated by the 3D model. #productdesign #filmic_blender #3drender #blenderguru
