@ladadadada Restricting motorbike access while enabling all types of bikes is a problem everywhere. For shared pedestrian/cycle paths in Aus I’ve come to the conclusion a mechanical gate is needed with either a pass or a camera with image recognition that restricts access for motorbikes.

I visited the new A frame barrier next to American Golf in Greenwich. My bike doesn’t fit through. World class cycling infrastructure.

Fortunately we are seeing some sensible reductions in speed limits to 30 and 40 kmh to reduce the risk of collision. Also car parking helps protect users — Netherlands and Denmark have less of that
