@disneyglimpses Right up there with the Disney T-shirt hack from a few years ago.
English

Bingo. I don’t think people realize how popular the “Disney price hack” culture is.
Danielle@seraphinarose74
@disneyglimpses Facebook pages and groups are full of people saying to stay offsite for much less and you get treated just like a Disney guest. It’s gotten way out of hand.
English

@disneytipsguy Not a chance people will stop going. Disney knows that their fans have ZERO willpower and cannot spend their money fast enough and won't stop. It's almost like some weird status symbol to show off how much money people spend at Disney. Been like that for a long time.
English

@disneyglimpses These are the same people that go to hotels they're not staying at and eat the "free breakfast". The level of arrogance and entitlement has not limit.
English

You have to realize: people are booking cheap off property hotels or Airbnbs, parking at Disney Springs, visiting hotels and using the facilities (even the pools) as if they were paying guests, visiting the parks, etc. Essentially using this “hack” to get an on property vacation without the price tag. All while stressing capacity of the shopping districts parking (which negatively affects the shopping district itself). That’s not what Disney Springs parking garages are for and they clearly must’ve detected this abuse pattern at a high rate to warrant these changes. Seems pretty clear cut to me.

@Blog_Mickey @hedgehogherb She's a real Protostega Gigas if you ask me! Or was it Toxochelys?

Good morning, fellow unfavorable guests! Today is the final day to enjoy the Sassagoula River Cruise before Disney enacts restrictions on who can ride. Join us for one final relaxing round-trip from Disney Springs to Port Orleans and back

@wings91ster @Blog_Mickey There sure as hell aren't many perks left ... if any.
English

@Blog_Mickey Good. I pay dearly for the few perks that go with a reservation.
English

@Blog_Mickey @hedgehogherb That same former CFO also referred to guests as being fat and overweight and also said that some people have more time than money while others have more money than time.
English

@hedgehogherb Just having some fun. "Unfavorable" has nothing to do with on-site or off-site. It was a term the former CFO used to describe Passholders
English

@destiny_lugardo It came on after the US Open.
I wouldn't be surprised if a good portion of the 3M only watched a couple innings.
English

@WDWNT C'mon, Tom, be honest. You know the influencers and bloggers mess things up because they ALWAYS do. All of the little stuff that we all knew existed but kept quiet about became "Disney Hacks" by these people so they could get clicks & engagement.
English

@tmip I think that’s pretty extreme as Disney encouraged non-hotel guests to visit resorts for decades.

@Princess_n_Bear The “Disney Community” that is the problem. The Disney Adults or “influencers” are the villains.
English

@Princess_n_Bear Blame it on the influencers and the bloggers who created this situation by posting all of their "Disney hacks" just so they could get clicks and engagement.
English

@swiftly7 @Princess_n_Bear It's been like that for many years. Remember when Christine McCarthy said "some people have more time than money and others have more money than time"?
How about the people that can afford a (minimum) $3150/ day tour guide just so they can skip the lines?
English

@CherieBeneteau Come to New Jersey, where the governor just gave $20 million taxpayer dollars to fund legal defense for illegal immigrants facing deportation. You can't make this stuff up.
English

@CS_UTD @Blog_Mickey I agree, there are so few actual perks for staying on property that have not been removed. Not dealing with a bunch of influencers and freeloaders is about all that that's left.
English

@Blog_Mickey Good. I hope this is the case. IMO, people who don’t stay on property shouldn’t get to visit all of these. Disney needs to push for ‘perks’ of staying onsite. If that means fewer influencers getting in the way, then I’m all for it.

A new announcement from Walt Disney World has guests worried that new resort hopping restrictions are coming this holiday season (if not sooner)
