โWe canโt go furtherโ Health Secretary Wes Streeting says the government canโt make a new pay offer to striking doctors and says โthe BMA, resident doctors have done well out of the government, itโs time for them to recognise thatโ #BBCLauraK bbc.co.uk/programmes/m00โฆ

@DeborahMeaden @tryingattimes I'm not a climate change sceptic and I know that a few thousand acres here and a few thousand there of even "good" wheat land won't affect the price of bread, but when they are taking the best potato and veg land for this, it starts to impact food inflation.

1/ Today as we approve Springwell Solar farm, set to be the UKโs largest approved powerโproducing solar farm, @NESO have confirmed a new solar record, with over 14.4GW of clean power generated at the peak. independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-nโฆ

I was on the picket line yesterday, standing shoulder to shoulder with resident doctors across England on strike. Not only did the Government shift the goalposts at the last minute by reducing investment and stretching it over three years, they axed 1,000 extra training jobs too. This dispute will be settled with a credible offer on both jobs and pay. Until then, resident doctors will continue to stand up for our profession.
