England should have won two tournaments in my lifetime: 1996 and 2021.
In ‘96 England was the best side, and was genuinely unlucky. 2021 final was bottled.
Also a great team in 2022. If I’m honest think they’re short of that now. Hope I’m wrong!

A caste conflict arises in a corner of Villupuram district on the borders of Puducherry and Tamil Nadu, and within hours we had the Social Justice minister @VanniTamizhVCK on the ground addressing the grievance - IN PERSON. In my 8+ years of covering Villupuram and Kallakurichi districts under AIADMK and DMK regime, I haven't seen District Collectors or even RDOs visiting caste conflicted zone immediately or in a few days – at the least – as per the SC/ST PoA Act. I assume if Melpathi temple incident had happened now, it would've been different – from a social justice POV.
It's a positive change towards how caste atrocities will be addressed by the government henceforth. Hopeful.
