In December our family experienced a medical emergency that prevented me from attending the NADC and being recognized as a Bruce D. Whitehead Distinguished Service award winner. Our state association recreated the table set up, video presentation and presented the award to me at our @GADACOACHES conference awards program. It was an incredible act of compassion and camaraderie by those who facilitated this for me & my family. I’m touched and overwhelmed by the kindness and love demonstrated.
