@alexkaybuilds Oh too kind, too kind. Thank you! 😊 No web hooks needed. A client side script checks for changes and fires when a change is made or detected. Completely parallel, async and lazy loaded - does not use any resources tied to the user, it's on us and URLMagic's responsibility 💾

@urlmagic That’s really interesting! What a great idea, I don’t even think I would come up with something like that. Such a clean way to handle image infrastructure. How do the hot swaps work client side? Webhooks? I’m definitely going to check it out. Very cool

@alexkaybuilds Thank you! Great question, I see you know your stuff 💯. An API call that fires when an image is deleted from URLMagic. This deletes the master copies from their edge locations and routes the now dead URL to a 404. Similar logic is used for version control, enabling hot swaps 🪩

@urlmagic Cool idea, framing images as live data objects is a fresh take. How do you handle cache invalidation when the data updates? That part seems like where it gets tricky. Really interesting concept!

our agent has basically been helping users run an experiment the whole time: publishing content that works for both SEO and AI citations. honestly, it’s been working really well. SEO and AI search optimization overlap quite a bit the difference is, SEO is mostly about ranking, while AI is more about getting mentioned and cited. one of our users saw their site traffic jump 5x in just three months, so the impact is pretty obvious. ou can’t chase AI citations without having solid SEO fundamentals in place

This website’s SEO is pretty terrible 😂 But I don’t totally buy the idea that AI is “killing” SEO. Google is still one of the biggest traffic channels out there. AI didn’t kill it, it’s getting integrated into it. In the AI era, you need to build trust and credibility to get discovered in search, but that doesn’t mean search is going to be completely replaced. One recent case we worked on: just by publishing and optimizing content around target keywords and the questions users were asking, our traffic jumped almost 6x in three months—basically up to about 6–7x. It was pretty wild
