Claiming he hated her isn't even the most egregious thing I've heard abt them. I remember an anti ages ago arguing Orihime used her powers to kill him, and that's why his disintegration sped up here. Like, deadass. Makes me question if they even understand Orihime's character 🥀

@Pend1ngUser i think there are def discussions to be had about male-centeredness in bleach’s writing of female charas but it’s never discussed in good faith or a good understanding of the text so it always goes nowhere

@user277789 Tbh, I don't believe the "gender-centered" discourse is productive, since both Rukia and Orihime have characters they revolve around, and revolve around them in return. Byakuya & Ichigo, Kaien & Sora - like Aaroniero is basically a plot device to resolve Rukia's trauma with Kaien
