A lot has been said before me, and a lot will be said after. But I’ve been having so many thoughts lately. Yesterday, I finally gave myself a break to rest, think, and clear my head. Here is what we need to address: 1. WE LACK COORDINATION 📣 Our boycott really needs some structure. I get that we’re in different time zones and come from all walks of life, but without proper organization, everyone just does their own thing. This can either end badly or just fizzle out because of internal drama. I’ve been in real-life protests before. Trust me, the ones that lacked coordination, had no leaders, and were completely chaotic just died down because everyone started fighting or people simply walked away. So, this is something I’ll keep bringing up and pushing for. 2. DONT STEP INTO DANGEROUS TERRITORY ⚠️ No matter how badly we want to take radical action, we can't cross the line. We aren't experts in international law, we aren’t lawyers, and we don't fully understand the culture of the country this game comes from. Because of that, we could easily make things worse. Plus, we don’t know for sure if the company-that-shall-not-be-named was truly a victim or if they just lacked the resources to defend themselves. It's definitely NOT our job to figure that out. 3. INSIDER INFO IS A TRAP 🛑 Any insider information should automatically be treated as dangerous. We use handles online, not our real names, so we can’t verify who a person is or where they work—and we shouldn't have to. Most of us live with freedom of speech, which is amazing, but we still can't fact-check anyone. We have no way of knowing if a certain claim or opinion comes from an anti-fan or an insider plant. 4. STOP THE BLAME GAME ❌ Blaming other games and hunting for scapegoats only makes the situation worse. We don’t know what’s true and what’s just a guess. Everything we see right now is PURE SPECULATION, insider rumors, and unconfirmed stuff. Until there's a court ruling or an official statement, it's just guesswork. Let's not forget about the PRESUMPTION OF INNOCENCE. Until proven guilty, a personтor a company is considered innocent. Hey. Yesterday I mentioned that we need to start coordinating our boycott and every single action we take. Why did the anti-fans—and I use "fans" very lightly here—succeed with what they did? Because they had coordination. They had core talking points that they kept spreading. And we need to do the exact same thing. We have to organize and form a united front. Honestly, any boycott or protest falls apart quickly if it doesn't have a leader or a core group of leaders. So we need to do something about this. I'm not entirely sure what it should look like yet. There’s already an existing Discord server, so maybe we could gather there, brainstorm, and put together a group of experts who will do the talking and figure out the next steps. But we need to keep a cool head, without extra emotions, and without raising the temperature in the room. That’s my take. That’s what we need to do.

I just got done talking to an incredible, fact based, non-rumor mongering CN girlie and she’s helped me find the perfect middle ground. I think all the community leaders need to come together in a group chat or something and let’s talk this out. The CN girlie put me on to the Weibo tags we need to be looking at. What Infold buries here is not just one character, but a tomb dug into the heart of Love and Deepspace itself: a coffin for its own artistic conviction. Infold’s cancellation of Valko is a walk back against their original intention for the game, it was not just a “business decision” to appease the anger ; from an artistical, a writer’s lens, Infold did not merely retreat from controversy, they retreated from their own artistry, dismantling something they had once built with intention, care and craft, because the space between imagination and audience proved narrower than they believed. This to me was a confession; that even bold creative vision has borders, and those borders are drawn not by the artist but by the collision of expectations, politics and fear. I am not merely mourning, griefing for this story, this game built with the very essence of love, I am mourning for the artistic value it once had, it once sold. And that is precisely why this fight continues — not to reclaim a character, but to insist that artistic conviction should not be so easily buried, and to also let a corporate company’s management to realise this was a very wrong decision and how much have they let down their artists, designers, writers, teams of each character.

Valko reminds me so much of my own future husband. He came at a time in my life where I had gotten out of an abusive relationship that had a wife and his entire personality was fabricated. I spent the better part of a year and a half being lead on by his horrible man and it destroyed me. I died the day I found his wife and he ghosted me without a trace. My future husband found me in the dark and has been my light ever since. Much like my future husband, Valko provides me a sense of safety and warmth. He is a protector. He is emotionally open. This is more complex than people are realizing. Infold CANNOT defend themselves at this point. The Chinese state media made an article about them. This is not like CNN or CBS making a statement. This is essentially the mouthpiece of the Chinese Communist Party. If you're looking at this through the eyes of someone in an uncensored country, you're looking at this wrong. Contradicting state media is essentially defying the government. Doing so could be a death sentence to their company. ​If Infold released a statement arguing that the state media misunderstood the trope and that the Valko isn't actually dangerous, it could be interpreted as a refusal to accept regulatory guidance and an unacceptable implication that the state is wrong. The only thing they could do in that moment was try to stop the initial backlash and find a solution. We need to give them the time to comply with the government orders and find a way to prove themselves innocent without committing social suicide. I understand everyones feeling, as I've been furious too. I didn't initially realize how bad the situation was and solely blamed them for ignoring us as well. We all know Infold. They create wonderful characters, but they're money hungry. They would not give up a character and keep him gone knowing how much money he'd make. They were extremely adamant that he was staying until the day things got out of control in the media. That post by state news was essentially a government warning for them. Infold hasn't even updated their pinned posts, it's on the movie banner still (two banners behind). I'm sure they'd much prefer to advertise Wander in Wonder and try recoup their money. So many of us did not realize how deep this goes. But we need to acknowledge it now. We deserve to be mad about many things, as Infold has things they should have fixed years ago. But this current situation is out of their control, it's a smear campaign that went way too far because of a couple toxic antis who weaponized false information.
