I imagine you'd probably have to be there for them ALL the time no matter the emulator then if they're that computer illiterate that they needed to be hand held. While emulators aren't insanely complex in the slightest there's still SOME modicum of computer literacy required to use them after all

@sincessamagica i guess so, either way, its the type of service that if my 30yo sibling that is not into tech but really misses n64 stuff asks me to install for them i would have to be there in all the times they want to launch it and would really consider making a ui layer myself just for them

I mean to an extent yeah but like I GUARANTEE you most people opened RA, took one look, and IMMEDIATELY gave up without even TRYING to figure anything out, trust. I personally think that the UI is great, very clean and minimalistic, categorized neatly, and the settings even tell you what each option does too without either having to hover over it and wait for a popup or simply not have them at all which I really appreciate

anywho, i apreciate retroarch having achievements, thats mostly the only reason i keep using it, being on steam and having all the cores there, but the UX is plainly horrible

@weonprogramador Well yeah I imagine using ANY program for the first time without knowing where or what things do or are is annoying but that's usually why you keep using it to figure it out

@Jaiydanimate the people on my career were not my people and to find friends I had to get out of my common working places and find other activities like a 3rd language, art and other stuff rathen than what anyone would normally think it's were normal people would find friends (4/X)

I'm surprised ppl end up like this. I had utterly horrendous social anxiety and University fixed it for me, I had such a fun social life. You cannot expect people to walk up and do all the work for you. You NEED to make the effort. After you graduate it will be so much harder.
