We are listening. We paused our reliability improvement work for a new transmission line on the north side of Gallatin because we want to learn more. We’ve launched a new initiative to ensure community voices are heard as we work on projects that deliver reliable, affordable electricity to the areas that need it most. Members of this task force include longtime farmers and landowners, farm association members, people at electric co-ops who serve rural areas and union members. We invited country music artist @johnrich to co-chair, but he declined to serve. We still welcome and encourage his input. We remain focused on supporting the Administration’s energy dominance goals as we work on projects to meet the ever-growing demand for electricity from people across the region.

It may be cold outside, but things are heating up across our nuclear fleet! 💪 Our seven nuclear units are generating thousands of megawatts, helping keep the 10 million people in our region warm and safe during Winter Storm Fern. ❄️ Here’s a look inside the control room at Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, just outside Chattanooga, where skilled unit operators monitor the units around the clock. They are just a few of the many dedicated employees stepping up to serve the Valley, no matter the conditions.
