When there is a nursing shortage, pay rates shoot through the roof for Registered Nurses. When there’s a teacher shortage, we just lower the bar to become a teacher and never touch pay.

👀👀👀 22 years teaching and I barely make more than a first-year teacher. Stop adding new positions that pay $20,000 more than a teacher with experience and up the rate for your existing staff.
