As an American it’s cool reading about the Cubans curing lung cancer, the Japanese building 300+ mph high speed trains & China reclaiming the literal desert, meanwhile my government jails women for abortions, hunts the homeless for sport & puts immigrants in concentration camps.

No other religion has despised gossip with such ferocity as Islam, to speak ill of another in their absence is not merely condemned, it is made monstrous “Would any of you delight in eating the flesh of his dead brother?” The image is unbearable, almost grotesque in its clarity.

Americans are so cowed and obedient that they literally can’t conceive of any kind of politics that takes place outside of the two approved parties. The think of the world outside of the two imperial parties as the vacuum of space, where nothing can live and breathe.

How lucky we are to experience boring, ordinary, uneventful days. Somewhere in the world, that kind of safety is unimaginable.

The new strategy to combat growing antisemitism is to place all of the blame on Netanyahu individually, instead of Israel as a society. By making one man the fall guy the blame is alleviated from the rest of the demons. Do not fall for this lazy attempt to regain your trust.
