TBC the people who left crypto these past 12 months aren’t giving up. They’re not tired of building - they’re tired of building in the dark. Many spent years pouring their energy into products that never met a real need. That never connected with a community. That never made anyone’s life better. The fatigue doesn’t come from the pace. It comes from the emptiness. When builders don’t see the impact of their work, they disconnect. They drift. Eventually, they leave. If we want to keep the best people here, we need to stop chasing hype and start building for real use. Because people stay where their work matters. Not where it trends.

Stop guessing what people think. Ask. Confirm. Most missed opportunities come from assuming the door was closed.

Crypto wasn’t invented for entertainment. It was built to solve something real. If we want this space to mean something again, we have to go back to why it mattered in the first place.

The obsession with buybacks in early-stage protocols is misplaced. At this stage, growth isn’t just important- survival is. And the healthiest way to fund it is through revenue, not by inflating the token.

Crypto’s biggest hurdle isn’t image - it’s language. In AI, you’ll hear: “Writes your sales pitch.” “Summarises your meeting.” “Turns your notes into slides.” In Web3, we drown people in: “Decentralised infrastructure.” “Layer twos.” “ZK proofs.” If we can’t explain what we do without jargon, we can’t expect anyone outside the bubble to care.

Surround yourself with people who force you to raise your standards. That’s where the real shift happens.

Hard work’s just the start. If you’re not pitching, networking, asking- you’re invisible. Opportunities don’t chase quiet builders.
