Can someone convince me why N1X matters? ➡️ It's an expensive chip for notebooks ➡️ It's a high power chip for notebooks ➡️ If it runs Windows, good luck on software support and peripheral drivers. ➡️ It's a low margin product for whoever sells it, branded NV or MTK ➡️ It won't be for gamers. Price, performance, power. ➡️ Where's the market for it? ➡️ Even with heavily subsidised buy in from OEMs, would it even justify a second gen? ➡️ Is it just for people who don't want to run OpenClaw on mac book? There has to be something more than 'cool chip we've had in the spark but now with a display' and 'because everyone's talking about it'. I've heard lots of arguments. This is a little bit devil's advocate, but please convince me.

@IanCutress There’s no rival to the M5 Pro/M5 Max MacBooks in the Windows world when it comes to GPU performance and battery life. Qualcomm’s chips are nearly toe‑to‑toe in CPU performance, but not in terms of GPU power. Maybe Nvidia can change that.

@IanCutress @mehrdadisaloo GPU is more important than CPU. As long as N1X CPU is reasonably power efficient.

@IanCutress @mehrdadisaloo Qualcomm Shipped an Overclocked 8 Gen 2 iGPU in X Elite. The thing couldn’t even beat A830 in the same year’s smartphone SD. It was complete garbage. N1X has at least RTX 5070 Laptop perf. It’s on a completely different planet And N1 delivers an RTX 5030 like GPU perf profile
