#GlobalBetrayalOfIran Part Three: Khomeini’s stay in Paris was not an ordinary or coincidental event; rather, it took shape based on prior planning. In these meetings, individuals were present who had connections with the West, and continuous contacts were maintained with representatives and figures associated with the United States. These communications were not limited to dialogue but also included the exchange of information and operational coordination. At the same time, ongoing contact with embassies and foreign representatives was maintained, and information was continuously transmitted. France, by providing unrestricted conditions, created a complete platform for these activities. All necessary facilities for holding meetings, communications, and media activities were made available to this movement, and Paris became the main center for directing these developments. In Neauphle-le-Château, the movement of people, repeated meetings and organized communications continued steadily. This network of communication, in addition to political coordination, also included planning for future actions. Alongside these, certain security and logistical measures were carried out with the involvement and cooperation of foreign actors, including the provision of facilities, management of movements and creation of the necessary infrastructure for continuing activities. Behind-the-scenes communications were continuously maintained and advanced communication tools were also used. The presence of foreign individuals, particularly Americans, around the place of residence was observable, indicating that part of the direction of developments was being pursued outside Iran and under the supervision of foreign actors. Alongside these relations, the issue of financial resources also held considerable importance. Significant amounts of money were placed at the disposal of close associates and were used to advance plans, indicating the existence of strong financial backing in this process. In this context, instances of unethical behavior and severe corruption by Ahmad Khomeini and some of his associates in Paris were observed, which stood in clear contradiction to the image presented of this movement as a religious cause. At the same time media construction and image-making were pursued in a targeted manner. Content production, image recording and the direction of narratives were carried out in such a way that a controlled image of this movement would be presented to global public opinion, while the realities behind the scenes reflected a different path. It also becomes evident that work had already been done on specific individuals around Khomeini, and a list of key figures in various fields—political, military, academic, and media—had been prepared. This list included approximately 400 individuals who were designated to take roles in the future structure of power. Among these individuals, some were aligned with the United States and others with the United Kingdom; however, ultimately, through an agreement between these two sides, the overall direction was guided within a shared framework. Even some wellknown political and religious figures were included in this list and had been designated in advance for future roles. In conclusion, what took shape in Paris was not merely the residence of a religious leader, but a multi-layered project based on three main pillars: media management and image-building, foreign political coordination and support, and the pre-designed structuring of future power.
