What are your thoughts on Pape Matar Sarr? 🤔🇸🇳 I saw someone say he’s been at the club for 4 years and hasn’t improved. I think that’s quite harsh. I’ve always been quite a fan of Pape. I think his ceiling is really high. It’s crazy that he’s still only 23 years old. I believe there is a genuinely quality player in there but I think #THFC fans are quite split on him….🤷‍♂️ Let me know what you think. 💭

For his own career, the Tottenham fan in me aside, I’ve felt he needs to be #1 choice somewhere for a while and go and really kick on… From my point of view, I love him and think he’s a brilliant squad member. Gallagher goes before he does for me, selfishly

In most of our best performances against the top teams in last few years… He’s been the glue In games that are stretched and vertical he asserts control for us by just hoovering everything up

@HotspurLane Really good player - loads of potential. Was really good at the start of the season and like lots of others he was inexplicably dropped by Frank and hardly played for months despite the injury crisis. Very useful player, think De Zerbi will like him.

@HotspurLane Crap. He can't win the ball. Can't move with the ball. Doesn't offer anything defensively or offensively. Is the main reason why we finished 17th last season and are 17th this season. The saying goes if you're good enough. No such thing as progression. Good or not.

@thfcbilly__ @Talking_spurss I get you but for me Porro at his best is better than trippier at his best too. And I actually think his defending has been improving. It’s hard to argue for these players as whole team been crap but I do also think sarr is much better than sissoko in most aspects.

@19_thfc @Talking_spurss Yeah trippier didn’t have his greatest season in 18/19 but Porros been crap for a while now and it feels like every winger seems to run him ragged. And I personally feel sissoko was quite underrated at times for us and I’m on the fence on what I think off sarr tbh
