Jonny Quest was unique in many ways, and it's truly one of a kind in Saturday morning TV. It was twice the budget of The Flintstones, and every other cartoon, full orchestra, characters died violently, the art was more nuanced. Sponsors hated it, and it lost money.

My favorite type of storylines on the TV show Adam-12. This was on the show and it made it on the lunchbox.

One of the top #Superman cartoons was from 1988 produced by Ruby Spears, with character designs by Gil Kane and story editing by Marv Wolfman. It only lasted 13 episodes despite its high quality.
