Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadsiah are set to sell midfielder Equi Fernández to Bayer Leverkusen. Al-Qadsiah will receive a minimum of $35m, having bought the Argentine midfielder for $20m only one year ago. If bonuses are achieved, Qadsiah can reach double their investment. And Qadsiah retain a sell-on clause. The transfer is a strong example of the Saudi market being two-way, and young players arriving and growing in value in a short space of time. Qadsiah now hope to reinvest the funds whether this summer or in future windows. Qadsiah’s model is similar to that of Brighton, Brentford or Benfica. The club is investing in young talents and prepared to develop them and sell on when it suits all parties. 18-year-old Brazilian Gabi Carvalho and 20-year-old Ghanian Bonsu Bah are two other players Qadsiah belief have big futures.🇸🇦

Thanks to the amazing packed out crowd at The Hollywood Bowl last night. Everything was perfect. A beautiful evening in the most iconic venue in the world. I enjoyed it even more than last time although it was still just as surreal.

@MarcoManasseh Goalkeepers are different has followed me round the world - what a writer. Was in awe when i met him in a football press box, and listened to him talk cycling with a real passion while Watford played in the background.

RIP a true great who also happened to be my dad. What a life, and such a legacy.
