US prepares fuel depot in Davao. US Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) issued a formal solicitation last 31 March, for US-based contractors to build & operate a Defense Fuel Support Point (DFSP) along the western coast of Davao Gulf.
Higher Jan-Feb remittances. BSP reported $2.79bn remittances in Feb. (+2.6% YoY). Including transfers made via informal channels, the data is at $3.1bn (+2.6%). This brought Jan-Feb. Remittances to $5.81bn (+3.1%).

$CEB passengers for 1Q +8%. CEB’s March 2026 passengers rose 11.5% to 2.46mn, bringing 1Q26 total to 7.535mn (+8.4%). Domestic passengers for 1Q was +7.9%, international +9.8%. Seat load factor for 1Q fell to 83.7% (from 84.9%).
