Just read Barron’s take on the 15% drop in $ASTS, and I completely agree with their analysis. The market is spooked by the $1B convertible debt pricing, but building a global space broadband network is incredibly capital-intensive. Raising cash now to restructure debt and hit their 2026 deployment goals makes perfect strategic sense. The financial shock completely masked a massive tech milestone: they just successfully unfolded the BlueBird 6 satellite (3x larger, 10x bandwidth). They clearly have found a more compelling reason to raise cash in a hurry. Hopefully we learn why soon.
