@EthanLevins2 I don’t support Benjamin Net and Yahoo but the fake story put out every few weeks that he has cut and run is delusional crap.

Nature isn't cruel, in my opinion. Nature actually minimizes pain/suffering, in my view. For example, being eaten alive is probably, in most cases, not just painless but ecstatic and euphoric—your body goes into shock, releases painkillers and other euphoria-inducing compounds, your soul leaves, you reincarnate.
It's human dominator culture that is cruel. For example, dying slowly over years/decades from highly painful chronic diseases while taking psychotropic pharmaceuticals and undergoing medical treatments (chemotherapy, etc.) that make life hellish (almost most people these days), or being tortured to death in mind-control experiments, are both much worse, I think, than anything that happens in nature.

@tao_lin Nature never keeps things alive just to torment them, natural selection places limits on misery. Prolonged suffering is not adaptive and will eventually be selected against on a long enough time frame. But nature does still create many horrible situations.
