The #ABATEDStudy aims to validate novel AI tech🖥️ to detect similar early brain changes using clinical MRI scans which may allow doctors to catch the signs of memory loss faster.

Can life changes like divorce or widowhood influence brain health?🧠New research from QMUL led by Dr. Avi Chandra finds that marital dissolution is linked to worse memory, and this may be influenced by increased amyloid-beta (Aβ) in the brain, a key protein in #Alzheimers🩺.

🎉Huge Congratulations to Neil Kirby! 🎉 On Saturday October 12th, Neil made history by breaking the #worldrecord for running 50km on a treadmill in the over 70 age group 🏃‍♂️ He did this world record in support of Race Against Dementia - raising over £8,400 👏💙 Thank you Neil!
