OHMSS DBS Vantage unveiled at Rétromobile, France. After more than 50 years in Australia, this iconic DBS Vantage was acquired by a British collector and returned home to the UK for a full restoration by @RSWilliamsLtd Two and a half years ago, the AMHT registrar successfully secured the return of its original historic registration number from the DVLA. Podcast alert 🚨 Was this the first Aston Martin ever painted metallic green? Episode 51 uncovers a major discovery hidden in a 1935 MkII saloon—and follows its journey all the way to Pebble Beach. In 2019, Steve Waddingham met owner Neil Pickstone, who found traces of metallic green paint during restoration. With no period colour photos and the factory record only saying “green with green upholstery,” the team headed to HMG Paints to find answers. Experts hoped to confirm what could be a landmark moment in the brand’s history. Then came the race to prepare the car for its accepted Pebble Beach Concours entry. Six months. Countless hours.
