I recently moved barely one mile away from my last house and Fck me it's paradise compared to where I was. No blacks, no Indians, no Chinese, no Eastern Europeans, everyone speaks English, everyone is friendly and talks to each other. I'm genuinely not even a mile away from where I was before, and it just shows how isolated the middle-class are from what's going on. If I take a 5 min walk I'm back in Mogadishu, but right here I'm in old Ireland. Just goes to show how they can have the views they do - They have no idea what is happening in the rest of the country. Although, before COVID, there were no black in Indians at my old place. In 5 years time I may have to move again as they'll have spread out to this new area.
