J. J. Abrams is downsizing his production company Bad Robot and relocating operations from LA to New York. Sources were not clear on the exact number of cuts to come as a result of the downsizing, but it was characterized as being an across the board change rather than being specific to one division of the company versus another. @imdb 's new algo is ruinous for #screenwriters. Our work is quiet, there aren't always announcements. I'm pitching to A-listers. I've written for Spielberg, Emmerich, every studio. My "Starmeter" fell over 600k this week. What on earth are you people doing?? (And we pay for it!)
@AWorkmanWriter @MOVIETVWRITERX @IMDb @imdbpro Or just restrict it to actors and leave the rest of us alone. Lumping everyone together makes no sense. The credits should be the primary thing someone is looking at when considering working with a writer, director, editor, etc.
