🚨 Chicago Schools Drop Reading for Protesting
In a jaw-dropping move, Mayor Brandon Johnson announced Chicago Public Schools will stop “wasting time” trying to teach kids how to read.
Instead, the district is spending taxpayer money to bus functionally illiterate students straight to liberal protests.
“These kids don’t need phonics — they need praxis!” Johnson said, smiling beside Chicago Teachers Union officials.
The stats are brutal: Only ~40% of Chicago students in grades 3–8 read at grade level.
But no problem — they’ve got buses, lunches, and full credit for the big May Day rally at Union Park. Kids will get attendance points for holding signs they literally can’t read.
Over 100 schools are participating in this “Day of Civic Action,” complete with morning “civic engagement” lessons before the 1 p.m. chants against billionaires, Trump, and whatever’s trending on TikTok.
Sources say the mayor is already working on the new curriculum: “See Spot Protest Systemic Oppression.”
This is what passes for education leadership in Chicago. Clown world. 🤡

Chicago Public Schools is bussing kids to protest. If we're not careful we will lose our country. The students are telling me that their teachers tell them "F*ck Trump." The indoctrination in this country is not a conspiracy, it is a fact.

Illinois needs to be looked at very closely. I'm two counties away from Cook County but am in the same congressional district as Cook County. My county is very red. I have zero representation.
