@sunaneko666 Metal is a genre where bands can change over time in ways other genres cannot. I love Enslaved. Below the Lights is one of my favorite albums. Listening to them then and now is like night and day. They have changed over time in a good way.

@sunaneko666 Metal makes people uncomfortable. Not in the same way as rap or pop music. It is an expression of the individual spirit that forces us to confront weakness, death, and questions of good and evil. No other music besides classical can do that.

@AgainstTime777 一説によればCoal Chamberは最初にNu Metalと呼ばれたバンドと聞いた事はある。KoRnをもっとシンプルにヘヴィにして見た目はゴスみたいな感じ？確かにNu MetalはGrungeと同様に伝統的なヘヴィメタルの中では嫌われてたよね、でも古いメタルバンドはNu Metal的なアルバムも出してたけど笑

@sunaneko666 Well, the record studios wanted to make money and they pushed a lot of bands into directions they thought would be popular. Metal will never, NEVER, become mainstream because true metal can't be controlled. Society sometimes aligns with metal and not vice versa.

@sunaneko666 Coal Chamber started during a weird period for metal in the US. Probably the worst time for metal was the Rap/Metal bands and Coal Chamber were a reaction to that. Eventually, most metal bands hate being put into categories. It prevents you from exploring something new.

@LORDFUCKINMETAL In the 2000's, there were quite a few Japanese metal bands than had fans in American and the UK. Gallhammer was one of them.
