I wish there was instead of banning/nerfing developments like this, every 3 months the trick had to be shared across all teams so instead of Mercedes having an illegal engine for half of the season, everyone gets to go faster and the gap closes and we get 4x big innovation jumps

Tube union bosses are actually cycling advocates in disguise. If the tube keeps striking, not only will cycling numbers increase so much that cars will lose more road space but we will also get automated tube and put more staff on the concourse level to stop petty crime

@JamesTimmins I remain skeptical and optimistic all in one - I was there for bitcoin in 2008, I worked in VR in 2014 and there are a bunch of loud people always screaming about a paradigm shift. I think it's healthy to ask what were we doing before this and realistically how much better is it

"Is AI a bubble?" is hard to answer because AI is Instagram, NFTs, and AWS all at once. Some uses of AI are massively overvalued and other parts are currently undervalued.

@AlexAdamsLDN @but_cyclists Its important because its almost like in the midst of cyclist hating on motorist they almost forget without motorist the entire country would fail and would bring the entire country down to its knees, cycling on the other hand is very much a hobby at 2% offical census.

People will log on to social media to rage about having to drive behind a cyclist at 14mph for half a minute, yet we have full motorway closures due to collisions on an almost daily basis, costing enormous amounts of time and money, and it's just accepted as part of daily life.

I am a diehard South Park fan, and I am in favor of being able to poke fun at celebrities and elected officials… But I find it noteworthy that they just completely ignored the last 4 years of Biden being a vegetable, and are now all-in on bashing Trump all the sudden. This comes after South Park made fun of the all the anti-vaxxers and “conspiracy theorists” during the pandemic, and all those people turned out to be right about everything… Then, in 2020, Trey and Matt said they wanted to take a break from politics after getting everything wrong about Trump, Russia, Covid, vaccines, and more. They said they just wanted to get back to being funny, while completely ignoring Biden being a walking joke factory for 4 years, just to fire back up the political episodes as soon as Trump comes back. If South Park would have made fun of Biden, I wouldn’t have said anything, but they didn’t, so now this Trump-bashing just comes off as politically motivated. South Park prides themselves for, supposedly, going after EVERYONE, but they let Biden and the Dems off the hook for the last 8 years… As a lifelong South Park fan, it has been disappointing to see this franchise fall off, and it all started around the 2016 election. It’s never been the same. There have been some funny moments, but something changed.

Once a year I would love to see everyone in the @F1 grid race in a spec car like an F2 car or a Mazda or literally anything just to renew stories about drivers skill right now every team says "we don't know why we are performing/under performing" for nearly 2 years now. Boring.

@deadly_onion Congratulations on the upgrade, my observation on your observation is first class travellers are usually older and wealthier, both for me are linked with owning a kindle. literally every android device in the last 10 years can run the kindle app, don't need to buy a separate tool

Got upgraded on my flight to NYC this morning and everyone in first class had a book or e-ink device out. Reading. I looked back into the rest of the plane - everyone scrolling a phone, tablet, computer. Just a very interesting observation.
