@MHoward_ELA Assessments for/of/as learning. It can be better implemented using online tools/quizzes that give immediate feedback. With large classes it difficult to give immediate feedback for ALL students.

I agree with the assumption about memorizing things. We live in an age where every answer is available. All you need is curiosity and an internet connection. However, we are in a system where our students take a test that relies heavily on memorization. #HSABOOKGOALS

@Kenton_Barnett Right. How many times have we heard students say "but I don't want to make a mistake." The fear of being wrong. That's why we at Hall strive to create safe spaces for students. #HSABOOKGOALS.

@bcourts1 @MHoward_ELA I agree. And that's one good thing that came out of the pandemic. We were forced, as teachers, use technology which makes data collection easier. Something we should continue going forward #HSABOOKGOALS

@bcourts1 @MHoward_ELA I agree & would add that ownership equals self-motivtion. How often do we try and come up with incentives to get the students to take ownership of their learning? This year I like the concept of student driven goals which helps students take ownership. #HSABOOKGOALS
