@KLChouinard@WilliamsLaurenL Lots of blame to go around for how our season ended but the only person with none of it is this Australian bastard, I love him
Jock Landale, to @WilliamsLaurenL, on using the summer to get ready for next season:
“My big focus is health, being able to get out there all season long, which I typically do unless there's a one off injury and I get pulled out of the goddamn air.”
@DanielV46889390@mke_buckle It fucking sucked and I hate that we went out like that but at the same time I was so stoked to not be in the play in that I'm still happy with our season. We're also super young and all of our players are on cheap contracts, whereas the nuggets kinda need to win NOW.
@mke_buckle It's funny how it's all about expectations man. Like, objectively the Hawks just played one of the single worst games of basketball in playoff history, but not much was expected of them anyway so it's a bit lessened. Nuggets played a bad game but expectations make it generational
@ettingermentum@kindacrool Bring back CJ IF it's a good number, NAW and him as the 1 and 2 off the bench would be very potent and he's a good vet ton have around. Throw a bag at peyton watson to be our long term small forward. Kuminga I can take or leave, and I still kinda believe in Risacher.
What an insane way to end the season lol. On the whole a pretty good year, I’m very satisfied that we put a good enough group together to escape from Trae purgatory even if it’s clearly not quite there yet.
@King__tutttt@ATownRundown@IraHeatBeat Either matchup would have sucked since we only had 1 real nba center on the roster and both teams have huge bigs. Really the Hawks just wanted to go into the playoffs healthy. They won 2 games, got our young guys some experience. A great season despite the ending.
@ATownRundown@IraHeatBeat Again, you let your playoff seeding be controlled by someone else, cuz you favored rest.
That’s cool, but you did not need to play NY…
ATL was fine with whoever they played.
But There were a lot of ATL fans/media who preferred a matchup with NY over the Cavs
Remember, the Hawks opted their way into this Knicks matchup by sitting their entire primary rotation in their season-ending loss to the Heat. Had they won on April 12, they would have faced the Cavaliers. #BeCarefulWhatYouKnicksFor
@avetalksknicks@CalebColossus Lol GG bro, happy that the hawks got some playoff experience. Good luck vs whoever the hell wins that sixers-celtics series!
@BTRowland@LockedOnHawks Brad Rowland is the best beat reporter in the game, and if anything can make me feel better it's some pure unadulterated rationality from locked on hawks.
The Hawks suffered their worst playoff loss in franchise history tonight, falling 140-89 to the Knicks in Game 6.
It was a catastrophe.
A lot went well in the back half of the season, and they won 2 playoff games, but this one will sting for a while.
@LockedOnHawks to come.
If you are watching this game and think this is a coaching issue and not an execution issue then I can’t help you
This product on the Hawks side has been atrocious
after the last three games, it's going to be a challenge for me to try and explain that this was a productive season for the hawks
have a feeling i'm going to get yelled at a lot for the mere suggestion
The Hawks are 2.5-point underdogs in Game 6 tonight… if you enjoy that sort of thing.
Jock Landale remains out with the high ankle sprain.
Josh Hart is questionable for the Knicks with a lower back contusion.
Win-or-go-home spot for Atlanta at home.
7:12 pm tip-off.
