There were so many bodies in the Paris catacombs that they needed to clean them out. The amount of bodies stacked caused a disruption in the decomposition in a way that turned body fat into wax-like substance, which they collected turning it into candles and soap.

@blleau I agree. I never know if I ran into something, or rather someone mystifying. Or if it was genuinely coincidence that made it seem extraordinary. Not that humans are incapable of being extraordinary, because they are certainly.

Today I had an interesting encounter. As I was leaving a store an elder woman came into view, she was adjusting her coat. It had just begun to downpour and the warm spring air became chilly. She gave me a smile in passing. I returned it. +

@blleau That's very tender, and gorgeous to hear. It does show the power in what you do, what you have cultivated. The heart in what you do is admirable.

@Amoretality i still consider it as blessing still. that i have the skill to store up my precious memories in the way that barely people could. and those emotional sessions were simply part that shows how powerful my creation is. i have no regret to choose this path even for a bit.

@blleau Did she feel she had to work extra hard because of her being "muggle"? Or did she truly have passion for learning? Did you read the books Rin? You sound like you have a closer knowledge than me.

@Amoretality fair enough. but i think transfiguration would me my least favorite. hermione is perfect. the fact that she’s a muggle is the only reason that doesn’t make her very op.

@Amoretality This is such a wholesome anecdote. I do think you may have crossed paths with a good spirit.

People fascinate me.

They don't say much but what they do say feels more like an inside joke the way they communicate something to you. And they harness your attention, naturally. Not forcefully. You feel bewildered, bewitched and perplexed but mostly charmed.

@KOOKIEBANI I can see that, yet you've chosen the hard way to do so. I don't take kindly to being touched without permission. Though as a friend once said, I don't know why something like that has to be said. You shouldn't just go about touching people as you please.

@Amoretality it’s a holiday trip. i’ve been wanted to go to japan for some time and finally i’m here. heh. and yes, it does. to be honest, all my fragrances were inspired from my experiences, my memories. the way i preserved those into fragrances.

@blleau That's incredibly sweet and sad at the same time. To know your craftsmanship can sometimes be emotionally draining but you still put your heart into it regardless. It holds a great power over you that you want to share with others, even if the experiences vary.

@Amoretality if it’s a custom made, i usually take more time to create one, not just because of the expectation that needs to be met, but some scents sometimes bringing me into a state that i don’t really like. i can suddenly drop some tears while making one, and it happens quite often.
