Place- Achhabal, Anantnag Kashmir Year- 1988 Summer, school picnic Would you believe if I told you only two of these women are Hindus and the rest are all Muslim, all Kashmiri Muslim women? Can you see any hijab? Any abaya? Any burkha? Does anything appear communal or scary to you? Yet we didn’t know we Kashmiri Hindus would have to make one of the three choices just in the next two years- RALIV, TCALIV, GALIV. And our crime? Being a religious minority, Hindus, a mere 3%. Today, 19-01-2026 marks 36 long years of awaiting justice. Note: This is from my personal album as one of the teachers is my mother. #KashmiriPanditGenocide

How hard is it to simply acknowledge that the Ganga River is sacred to Hindus, and that basic respect should be maintained around it? Instead, they are equating a religious last rite like immersing ashes in the Ganga with eating chicken & throwing it into the river, labeling both as “non-veg,” as if the difference isn’t obvious. Since when has human cremation ever been reduced to a “non-veg” category ? Well this is the mindset of so-called secularists...

Many missionaries openly said the "walls of the mighty fortress of Brahmanism" had to be "stormed" for Christianity to win. They recognized Brahmins as "the principal integrating force" of Indian society, so breaking them was crucial to fragmenting Hindu society. The Logic was simple: Break the prestige of Brahmins so people lose trust in traditional teachers & the Hindu society becomes psychologically open to missionaries and colonial rule. So "Brahminism" was attacked relentlessly in sermons, schools, and colonial policy debates as a way to clear the ground for evangelisation. Thanks @indologia for bringing this to the front.

Aditya Dhar has made yet another government sponsored project with Ranveer Singh Dear Muslims, this Eid spends your money on family, food & happiness, not on a propaganda film that doesn't respect you Dhurandhar 2 a new chapter of propaganda? Bollywood has run out of creativity, only the agenda remains. No story, no soul just selective history glorification Not watching. Not promoting. Not buying the narrative. My ticket won't go to propaganda. I will boycott #Dhurandhar2

April 1 is still some days away but the joke of the year is already here. Meet Mahashay Bittu ji who has not watched Kashmir Files, Kerala Story, Bengal Files and other media because they as per him are mere propaganda and don’t show facts. It’s an art to distinguish between propaganda and fact without even watching the source. It’s amazing how people like him expose their lack of general knowledge, history, common sense and logic in one go. Gazab ke namune rehte hain is desh mein. #DhurandharMovie

It’s going to take me some days to watch #Dhurandhar2 tell me how do I stay away from spoilers 🤭? I am waiting for the meltdown threads though 💃🏻. It’s immensely satisfying to read them. Share them as much as you can.

@ARanganathan72 @rakeshkhar Sigh…I so relate to your sentiment. Celebrating festivals the way they are meant to be is so different from how we do it now. Those who should apologise are enjoying political mileage and facilities.

Dear Kashmiri Hindus, I want to wish you happy Navreh but every time I think of you, I think of the hollowness of my wishes, I think of how we failed you, I think of how 700,000 of you still cannot return to your homes, and so please accept not my wishes but my apologies. Sorry.

The oneness of our people from varied parts of the country can easily be seen on days like today. We Kashmiris celebrate it as Navreh, the start of the new year as per the Kashmiri Hindu calendar and the current one marks as Saptarishi era for us. We celebrate this day with religious devotion to Goddess Sharika and our ancestors. This also marks the renewal of time and spiritual beginnings in Kashmir. Navreh coincides with the first day of Chaitra Navratri and links it to the broader Hindu New Year celebrations. And that’s how this festival strengthens our cultural identity and community bonds. What adds even more joy is knowing that this same day is celebrated as Chaitra Sukladi, Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, Cheti Chand and Sajibu Cheiraoba in other parts of our beautifully diverse country. It’s indeed the season of renewal and shared festivities in India. #Navreh poshte to all💟!

In the silence of these sacred nights, the soul learns to listen. Not every prayer is spoken— some are felt in the quiet light of the heart. May these nights awaken your inner light, and guide you toward peace, patience, and truth. Navratri Mubarak

What are the places in Jammu that should be visited? I know it’s the city of temples so that tops the list for me💟. If you have a recommendation for any of the following categories, do share it- 1. Culture 2. Shopping 3. Food

Those are wrong examples you have cited for this particular incident. The FIR is not because of them hosting an iftaar, let’s not be blind, lazy to facts and spread wrong information. The problem is that we have turned everything negotiable- our beliefs, our pious places, our rituals, our practices, and everything else. No matter how troublesome, I quite admire this thing in those following Islam. They have their non-negotiables and they make sure they stay non negotiable.
