Correction. If it can be described as that. Apparently Duigan has extended the lease to Wild Drake P/L - a company under liquidation. One wonders how a company under liquidation can pay its fees and insurance. So many questions, so little clarity #politas

See this bloke. He just transferred the Halls Island lease from a company sent into liquidation to the Director of that failed company. He did this despite all warnings and every opportunity to end the Malbena farce. @NickDuigan is a patsy. Remember at the next election. #politas

3 days before the windup proceedings Hackett transferred the only asset of Wild Drake to himself. He cut loose investors & creditors. We’re yet to establish if this is legal but it says a lot. A good character to hold a lease a over World Heritage island @NickDuigan ? #politas

Did the Minister renew the exclusive Halls Island lease on October 1st to the proponent as an individual now their company is in liquidation? Beyond time for stopping the secrecy & privatisation of our wild places.

Seems Hackett has run away from the debts he owed as Wild Drake Director and switched the EPBC referral to himself. Did the Feds know that Wild Drake was insolvent? Did @NickDuigan knowingly transfer the lease over Halls Island to the director of an insolvent company? #politas
