Everyone connected with Bolton Wanderers is deeply saddened to hear of the death of Roy Greaves. Roy was the club's second-highest appearance maker and will be sorely missed by all at Wanderers. Our condolences are with Roy's family and friends at this difficult time.

It just demonstrates that the line is open on this leg, but you @AvantiWestCoast are choosing to abandon your customers for Lancaster, Oxenholme, etc at Preston. Have you just given up on this franchise?

@howittpie Hi Steve, this is due to a number of reasons. TPE are running services between Preston to Carlise where we have then arranged for rail replacement coaches. ^PH

@AvantiWestCoast The Trainline goes much further than Preston before your reach Lockerbie. Why can’t you continue to Lancaster, Oxenholme, etc??

@AvantiWestCoast If over-head line problems are north of Carlisle, why are you abandoning all of your customers at Preston? What about people on the train that want to go to Lancaster and Oxenholme?
