To all the $XRP folk that are seeing @SMQKEDQG gaslight you about DTCC's 50+ member working group including Ripple Prime.
Instead of taking my word for it, I asked the almost trillion dollar AI, Antrophic's Claude's Opus 4.7, the following questions:
"Does Ripple Prime, the prime broker acquired by Ripple, use XRP in any way?"
"Does XRP accrue any value from Ripple Prime?"
Short answer:
The honest answer is: almost none. Despite Ripple's marketing framing, the value accrual story for XRP from Ripple Prime is very weak.
RLUSD, not $XRP, is the actual collateral and margining asset.
XRP isn't a required asset for any Ripple Prime product.
The burn mechanism is economically meaningless.
