Alex Wheatle was a titan. A fighter in realest sense of the word. He created a beautiful Wheatle-verse in his writing and his words affected the lives of thousands. I’m so sad he’s gone, but I’m happy that he left a legacy enduring enough to achieve immortality. RIEP Alex.

Listened to a re-run of ‘Domino’ today on R4. It’s the first time I’ve heard the relationship btwn step-parent and step-child explored in an #audiodrama. It was fantastic. Both moving and hilarious. Loved the surreal elements too. I thank you for writing it @ArchieMaddocks
