Christians need to be honest about the fact that the portrayal of God in the Old Testament is frequently straight up incorrect, as demonstrated in this abominable passage. The OT is a record of a people moving towards an understanding of God but it is neither historically nor theologically infallible

Hitting children is so obviously low class I don’t know how this keeps getting debated. The disconnect is hilarious because they’ll mock the snowflake liberals while looking at the children they’ve broken through ineffective parenting, and not notice anything wrong. Low IQ/class.
