The Senate had two chances last night to pass Rep. Roy’s SAVE America Act—and failed both times.
Why? Because the Senate continues to hide behind a fake filibuster.
Bring back the talking filibuster. Make Democrats stand on the Senate floor and explain to the American people why they oppose preventing noncitizens from voting in our elections.

When I was as a kid I had 4 black girls that ganged up on me every day after school. They were all bigger than me and I would come home beat up and bleeding. Never thought about killing them. My sister got cut up with a razor blade by a 20 year old black man when she was 14, and they put her in juvenile for hitting him back…blood running down her face. Those people defending Karmelo are terrible.

Black Americans should be deeply ashamed of how this case has been racialized & how some have demanded Karmelo Anthony’s release.
If a White teenager had stabbed a Black teenager in the heart at a school track meet, there would likely be nonstop media coverage, marches, national outrage, & widespread demands to confront racism.

When I visit South Dakota at the end of the month, I’m looking to hire field staff.
If Senate Majority Leader Thune won’t give us the SAVE America Act,
he will have a Texas-sized primary in 2028.
I’ll also be meeting with donors to fund this statewide operation.

🚨 UNBELIEVABLE. The Senate just REJECTED the SAVE America Act, a bill that would’ve required voter ID and proof of citizenship nationwide. Vote: 48-50. It needed 60. The Republicans who voted NO: Tillis, Murkowski, McConnell, and Collins.
