Currently she is working in the area of synthesis and application of ionic liquids and organic salts as phase change materials, focusing mostly on the intermediate temperature range materials for application in the renewable energy storage.

From the beginning of her scientific career, she focused on the synthesis and characterisation of ionic liquids for various application.
