Robert Alai says that Edwin Sifuna must apologize to Oburu Odinga for calling him mediocre, and that apology must come before any Linda Mwananchi rally in Kisumu. I have just remembered the day Robert Alai was fighting with Edwin Sifuna in a rally in Kileleshwa, where Robert Alai was beaten until he was thrown into sewer water. That incident still lingers in political memory. I know Robert Alai is afraid of Sifuna. He should not hide behind posts. Let him come to Kisumu and face him again as a man.

Edwin Sifuna must apologise to Oburu for calling him mediocre. That apology must come before any Linda Mwananchi rally in Kisumu. Kisumu is the headquarters of Western Kenya. Busia, Kisumu, Homa Bay, Vihiga, Kakamega, Kisii, Migori, Nyamira and Siaya strongholds of ODM depend on Kisumu as the regional political HQ. Insulting ODM Party Leader and then going to Kisumu is like poking the anus of a donkey and then still hoping that you will ride on it. Sifuna MUST apologise to Oburu ASAP.

If fuel prices are only driven by global phenomena like the Iran war, then why do neighbouring countries exposed to the same global oil market and same shipping routes like Tanzania and Uganda still maintain significantly lower pump prices?

I sat in the committee room yesterday reading emails between ORYX ENERGY LTD and the Ministry of Energy officials, including the Cabinet Secretary, and I was shocked to discover that they were all in agreement to import fuel at USD 253.94 per MT—while the same government they serve imports fuel at USD 84.00 per MT. If OMCs are not taking advantage in cohorts with ministry officials, who is fooling whom? This is an artificial get‑rich‑quick scam orchestrated by a fuel cabal! We are not stupid—only for the deal to be cancelled at the last minute when a shipment of substandard fuel imported by ONE PETROLEUM LIMITED arrived and was offloaded, costing Kenyans the equivalent of USD 198,855 per MT—still USD 114 more per MT than the government’s own G‑to‑G rate.
