Status and maintenance updates for @axelar mainnet.
Update: The network has been upgraded. General Message Passing (GMP) services are now in progress and applications will be able to go live once they are restored.
The scheduled network upgrade has now begun. The upgrade is expected to last approximately 3 hours. During this time, the Axelar Network, token transfers + General Message Passing will not be available. All GMP calls initiated during the upgrade will be delivered once the upgrade has been completed. The upgrade will bring block times down from 5 seconds to below 2 seconds. The v1.3.2 proposal (axelarscan.io/proposal/421) is approved and the scheduled network upgrade is set to begin once block height 21,163,285 is reached. Due to block drift, the start time is now expected on Monday, Dec 8 at approximately 10:30am UTC. A current block height ETA is available here: mintscan.io/axelar/block/2…. A proposal (axelarscan.io/proposal/421) to upgrade the Axelar Network to v1.3.2 is now live. Due to unforeseen delays in node migrations, the planned Testnet upgrade is taking longer than expected. An update will be posted here when complete.

The Axelar Testnet will undergo an upgrade to v1.3.1 starting Dec 1 at 2pm UTC. This release will enable Axelar to support Cosmos SDK version 0.50, bringing block times down from five seconds to one second. If approved, this proposal will upgrade the network so that AXL transaction fees are sent to a burn address, instead of distributing them to token holders. If approved, it will cause an upgrade starting at 10:30AM EST (3:30 p.m UTC, Block 15,890,800). This release will enable the mainnet deployment of ITS Hub.
