Luis Enrique PSG was leading 5-2 and decided to bring on an attacker for an attacker instead of defending the lead. Was he planning on scoring 7-2 against Bayern Munich or what, now he has blown away 3 goals lead to 1. Arteta in that position will bring in a defender to stabilize the game and protect the 3 goals lead.

@TouchlineX So a manager who expects a high level of performance and effort will effect the players negatively? Then most of the worlds work force must be negative at this stage.

@UtdTony1 People don't seem to understand that being "better" means nothing if you lose. What matters is whether you win or not. United were better in the areas where it mattered. They took their chance and defended well to keep Chelsea out.

Today it works for them again, it has always been working for them mostly against big six, since Micheal Carrick took over the job. But can he go far with this style of play next season no, no he will get exposed and punish for that. I don't see them playing good football they just sit back defending all the time. If you play like this in champions League next season, teams like PSG, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, will punish you with that. But I still don't see them giving him the job permanently 🔴 💣

@scrumming_ten 7 and 1 is offside just looking at this photo. The offside line is the tryline. Anything infront is offside. Seen numerous penalties given before, because players has a hand infront of the tryline even though the feet are behind the line.

@Dreamchaser4132 @thepaulwilliams You're wrong..... Reading from the wrong part of the laws. 21.12: If any part of a defending player is in in-goal, that player is considered to be in in-goal, provided they are not also in touch or on or over the dead-ball line.

Refs out there. Is touching the try line offside, when the try line has become the offside line? I always thought it was like the touchline ie touching it means you've crossed it?
