@AirPassRightsCA how often do you accept new members on FB group? I joined a few weeks and this week realized I wasn't approved/couldn't post to ask if knock on effect applies to weather. My flight was cancelled the night before and was rebooked/landed 8h after my initial booking

@barrychoi can you help with a Q? My family @MargaretVanbla1 had their Ireland vacation delayed a day because YHZ-YYZ @AirCanada flight hit a bird. They were given a hotel and only $20 for food. Does the passengers bill of rights apply here for monetary compensation?

Your family could still try and ask for compensation, but I suspect they may just offer a $300 coupon for a future flight. If they have travel insurance, could claim some additional means & ent.
