He credits AA with giving him the community and consequently head space to write. I'm incredibly privileged to have had a lifetime of exposure to arts and creative people. I'm always fascinated by what are conditions people need to feel they can be creative.

@mmcphoto @williewhite Totally get that. My aversion to plastic grass is in people's gardens where they are polluting the soil chasing the look of a lawn instead of letting plants grow

New housing on Dominick St., D1. Interesting to see how the residents have resisted the arrangement imagined for them and have screened the balconies with various materials.

@williewhite @mmcphoto I love how people make places their own and interrupt the plan while stopping buildings looking like hotels. I worked on a regen project in Dublin where a resident put his pigeon hut on the front of his house but he was adamant it was the back despite the architect's protests
