I have a projector and 100' + screen -- and I sit close. Not quite the same as IMAX: no audience. But no commercials either.

MARTY SUPREME: Thwack! Josh Safdie (“Uncut Gems”) ping-pongs through a Pynchonesque saga of a 1950s New York hustler, a table tennis star superbly played by Timothée Chalamet as a combination of Jay Gatsby, Bugs Bunny and tornado. The film’s an energizing (if slightly overlong) experience, with excellent support from Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary and a dynamic score by Daniel Lopatin (plus 1980s needle drops).
