Will Belarus 🇧🇾 launch a military offensive against Ukraine 🇺🇦 ? Once again (like every 3 months), the Belarus military possibility comes again, same is for Transnistria. There is in my opinion no serious threat from Belarus to Ukraine. The country is not in any military position to launch an attack on Ukraine. Minsk is not prepared for the eventual ukrainian retaliation, especially using drones and has no means to launch a military force to enlarge the ukrainian frontline. Lets remember a big part of the population, mainly the youth is widely against Lukashenko and Russia. The country opposition even flooded a big contingent into Ukraine to fight Russia. If Lukashenko held in 2020, it's thanks to Russia. His priority today is to avoid the disparition of Belarus into Russia. The threats to Ukraine are unrealistic. The Belarussian army is small, unprepared and not in any position to launch military actions into Ukraine. Northern Ukraine is additionally very fortified, all the roads are mined and outside of these, you can only find wetlands, rivers and forest, not suitable for military offensives with a small force. The only way Belarus could be used by Russia could be the establishment of Shahed launch sites in western Belarus to threaten western Ukraine. However, Belarus and Transnistria remained for long time indirect threats to Ukraine, forcing the country to have some reserves in these directions.
