1. Strike throwers The best way to NOT get innings is to walk guys. Yes developing stuff matters. Yes throwing hard matters. But if you can’t throw strikes, your coach will have zero confidence to bring you into a meaningful situation. Train accordingly. 2. Hard workers Be the type of player that everyone WANTS to see succeed. Doing what is asked of you is expected. Going the extra mile is what gets you noticed. It’s not about doing things for people to see, but when a strong work ethic is what you’re about, people will notice. Including your coaches. 3.
